BG 073 – “Pearl Rare”

Currently located in Quebec, BG 073 is a stunner. Not only does it have the looks, it’s also a gigging/recording guitar, and over the years it has a few updates/mods:

• PICKUPS – Wolfetone DrVintage pickups “unpotted” (bought from Wolfe Macleod in ’06, currently have DMC ver.2 covers)
• RINGS – Throbak M-69 butyrate pickup rings “Bone colour”
• CAPS – LUXE bumblebee Paper-in-Oil capacitors (from Donovan Whittemore in ’19)
• THUMBWHEELS – Retrospec (brass)
• KNOBS – DMC 59 bonnet knobs (bought in ’05)
• STUDS – Pigtail “short” steel studs (bought from Steve Rowen in ’04)
• TAILPIECE – Gibson vintage ’58 tailpiece (from a 1958 Les Paul Special that was modified in the 70’s with a Badass bridge; a gift from the owner)
• FLIGHTCASE – The custom flightcase was made in 2011 by https://multicaisses.com/ in Québec.
